Four in The Morning

Itís four in the morning, this is your last warning, cos
Baby, when push comes to shove.
I like what Iím seeing, thatís why Iím agreeing, that
Maybe Iím falling in love.

Last week with the others, like sisters and brothers,
I took you for granted, itís true.
But to them Iím beholdiní, tonight you are golden, now
I only have eyes for you.

Itís four in the morning, and I could be snoring, but
Somehow I think that can wait.
I try to be cool, but I act like a fool and now
I am resigned to my fate.

Youíre telling me secrets, youíve never told anyone,
Laying it all on the line.
And itís too late to mention, despite my intention, now
Iím telling you all of mine.

Yes, itís four in the morning, weíve both started yawning, but
Baby, the night is still young.
It all goes to show, just in case you donít know, there are
still love songs left to be sung.

Iíve written a few, in my time it is true,
Iím a hopeless romantic at heart.
I could write you a letter, or make this song better, but
I wouldnít know where to start.

ĎCos itís four in the morning, and day is now dawning, letís
Go out and crow at the sun.
The neighbors will stare, but do we really care?
At least we know how to have fun.

Each day I grow younger, I canít feed this hunger,
I might even fade right away.
Yes, itís all so consuming, when new love is blooming,
There is only one thing left to sayÖ

Itís four in the morning, this is your last warning, cos
Baby, when push comes to shove.
I like what Iím seeing, thatís why Iím agreeing, that
Maybe Iím falling in love...
I think I am falling in love...
Baby, Iím falling in love.
