Jim's Note: I remember writing this song one weekend in 1989 while attending the Victor Harbor Folk Festival. The song grew out of a simple five note melody I was playing around with at the time, and which remains the heart of the tune, today.

Jim's Note: I play this song with a capo on the second fret. Because of the little bass runs in the melody, it sounds like there are more than two chords, but believe me, there are only two. With regard to the chords in (brackets) in the verse below - I don't actually play a G7 chord. I just pick out the melody on the bass strings instead.

C
Give me all your tears. Give me all your tears.
                                (G7)       (C)
I will take them all in my arms and run.
Turn them into Joy. Turn them into Joy.
                             (G7)        (C)
I will bring a smile to awake your heart.

Chorus:
                           G7                                    C
I will bring you Peace, I will bring you Peace.

Give me all your dreams. Give me all your dreams.
I will take them all in my arms and run.
Help them to come true. Help them to come true.
I will set them free to become alive.

Chorus

Give me all your fears. Give me all your fears.
I will take them all in my arms and run.
Turn them into dust. Turn them into dust.
Let them blow away on the four strong winds.

Chorus

Give me all your love. Give me all your love.
I will take it all my arms and run.
Fill your life with Joy. Fill your life with Joy.
Together there is nothing that canít be done.

Chorus
