If my first album, Sometimes I Wake Up Naked, was my 'personal' album, then American Dream is my 'political' album. With this release, I decided to record and produce the songs myself at home using not much more than an aging PC, and some basic recording gear.

The real joy was in translating the ideas and music in my head into real sounds that made sense when I finished recording them. To say I surprised myself is an understatement. It's amazing what you can do with a computer, a couple of secondhand keyboards, and countless hours of spare time.

With the exception of various copyright free sound samples used on Junkyard Dog and The Future is Theirs, all vocals, acoustic guitars, and keyboards performed by myself.
